What a lovely day!
Dave Mewburn celebrated being selected for the England “A" team by casting
the furthest ever distance recorded at SV with an OTG cast of 252.14m.
He also now holds a further two OTG club records.
Stephen Crimmins was so upset at losing his records that he resorted to casting
while on his knees.
Steve recorded a distance of 185.40m (202.75yds) using the 125gm lead.
Dave Coad regained the 150gm club record, previously held by the man from OZ,
Scott Selby.
Well done to everyone who improved on their Personal Bests.
