Kent Sportcast Results – 28th June 2009.
Conditions – Wind N - ENE Variable 0 - 5mph, Dry & Hot - 13 casters.
A hot and sticky day with very little wind assistance making casting conditions far from easy.
Even so there were numerous good distances. The best one being Steve Boyt’s 244m and a bit which is a new record on the 150g at Canterbury.
Also well done to Mark Jakins, Steve Lewis, Lee Adams and Alan Bowden for their very creditable distances.
Marco Marsi decided to stray out of his normal casting venue at Steyning and try his luck! Considering that he is relatively new to tournament casting he managed a PB on the 150g and his cast of 216m on the 125g must rate as one of his best casts!
Our next casting date is Sunday July 12th.
